Foot Pain
The foot is a very complicated structure. It has many bones, muscles, and supporting structures that allow it to accomodate to teh ground while you are standing, walking, jumping, or running. There are many reasons that you can be having foot pain, depending on where the pain is located. One of the most common areas of foot pain is in the heel. It is usually associated with a condition called "plantar fascitis". This pain can be very difficult to deal with, as it can be very painful to walk or even stand, and is uaually significantly worse first thing in the morning when you get out of bed. Luckily, there are interventions that a Physical Therapist is able to provide that can help alleviate this type of pain and prevent it in the future.
